For those of you who are absolutely beginners in salsa, we would like to offer you a great opportunity on our next salsa course.  The acourse is fantastic because it follows a set curriculum that is easy to follow for the absolute beginner. So you can relax and let us take all the pressure of you.

We also do Improvers, Intermediate & advanced Classes on a Thursday in Arta on Albion Street.

• Improvers that want to lern more beyond the basics.
• Intermediate & Advanced dancers that want to take your salsa to the next level of refinement and skill.

These classes are best if you have done a little Salsa, and then you can quickly find a level of Salsa dancing that suits you..

Who is Your Salsa Teacher?

Farah Portela Alonso is the Director and senior Salsa teacher of Tumbao Salsa School.  She was born in Havana (Cuba).  Farah is a Rueda De Casino Master and the very first to teach Cuban Salsa and Rueda de Casino in Scotland.

Tumbao have established a UK wide reputation for excellence, winning the Tropicana Tropics World Rueda de Casino and being runners up on two occasions.

This years Christmas party bring together everything that is world class in Cuban dance & music, and are excited about bringing together the very best teachers, dancers and musicians.

The first Cuban festival of its kind was held this year in Glasgow and was a huge success, the end peace of the festival, was the brilliant party at the Classic Grand with the amazing “Cuban Combination Band” and “AlbaCuba Rumba band”.
